Design details make the difference

The 4000 was launched in Fall 2010 and garnered immediate accolades for comfort and advanced cruising features like its Cruise Control Rig, carbon fiber mast, all-lead bulb keel, and infused BPA epoxy composite hull and deck. On deck, the 4000’s wide side decks and molded bulwarks provide safe and secure movement fore and aft. The cockpit is all about comfort and convenience, with twin helms that place the helmsman in a great sailing position. Tartan is known for the finest interior joiner work and creative interior arrangement plans. Below decks, the 4000 features handcrafted cherry cabinetry, an island berth and ensuite head in the dedicated owner’s stateroom, a large main cabin drop leaf dining table, and two additional cabin options.

• Ballast is through-bolted to hull with cast-in-place stainless steel bolts of quality and size that exceed ABS standard for offshore use
